How is Women Welcome different from other pre/postnatal programs?

You aren’t just following random workout videos. You get real LIVE PERSON support. Not only is this comforting, but you really learn how to move- which is essential in the pregnancy & postpartum stage when your body is changing rapidly. How do you know if you’re performing movements safely &/or correctly when you aren’t receiving QUALIFIED feedback? Don’t worry– I can put your mind at ease by working with you to get it right!

How does online Ww coaching work?

I am a real person who’s on-call to support you. I’ll message you often, build a new training plan for you as you progress, and respond in real-time as you need changes or have questions. Once you join, you’ll schedule a Strategy call via FaceTime so you can get to know me and discuss your preferences and goals. After you have finished your workouts, I’m able to analyze any videos you send me to congratulate you on an awesome job or may tweak things to help you improve. You’ll also receive video messages from me and you can schedule FaceTime check-in calls when needed.

Should I do online or in-person training with Women Welcome?

Most of us need human support and accountability to reach our fitness goals. Whether it be online or in-person is solely up to your location and schedule. If you’re in the Space Coast, FL area I would be happy to discuss in-person options. Fortunately, we don’t need to be close for you to access all of the benefits of a 1-on-1 relationship with an expert personal trainer.

What kind of equipment do I need?

Whatever you have at home or in your gym! I design your custom workout plan specifically to suit your situation. Your workouts are tailored to whatever environment works best for you, whether that be the gym or your living room. I will also customize the program to fit whatever equipment you have at home (this can include nothing!!). My goal is to create a convenient and realistic training plan that you can stick to.

What kind of commitment do I have to make?

Let’s be real- as a mom, we want to make as little commitments as possible with how busy our lives get! So don’t worry– I work around your schedule — not the other way around. I will design and adapt your workouts based on what’s realistic for you and can make changes during the week to accommodate your busy mom life.

How long are the workouts?

However long you prefer! I work with your schedule!

How challenging are the workouts?

I design your workout plan by assessing your current fitness level. I thoroughly analyze your movement assessment (which you will perform upon initiation of your program) and will consider your previous level of activity and experience. This way, you can progressively work up to crushing your fitness goals!

Women. 😉 My specialty is working with women trying to conceive, pregnant, and postpartum moms. I also love working with women that are well beyond the postpartum period.

History of Miscarriage. Is it still safe to exercise if I’m trying again?

Yes, it absolutely is. Unfortunately miscarriages are fairly common and occur in 10-20% of known pregnancies. Most miscarriages happen in the first trimester due to chromosomal abnormalities, and have nothing to do with what the mother has or has not done with their bodies.

Can I still workout if I am experiencing SPD or Sciatica?

Of course! You will receive a program that implements exercises to help reduce pelvic pain. This way you can keep moving while we address your discomforts. Along with this, you may want to see a chiropractor and myofascial specialist to help decrease your pain.DR Exercise Video Guide
